What to expect when your Expanders® unit is delivered
Expanders® units are manufactured off-site and delivered to your location or made available for collection, depending on your order. This page explains how delivery works and what’s required to ensure a smooth process.
Delivery Options
Depending on your contract, your Expanders® unit may be:

Delivered to your Site, or
-
Collected from the Expanders® location, as specified in your quote
Your quote or invoice will confirm which option applies.
Delivery Timeframes

Any delivery or completion dates provided are estimates only

Timeframes may vary due to manufacturing schedules, shipping, freight, weather, customs, or other factors outside our control

Customised units may require additional time
We will keep you informed if timelines change.
Site Access & Preparation
If your order includes delivery to site, you are responsible for ensuring:

Clear, safe, and suitable access for delivery vehicles

Adequate space for unloading

Ground conditions that can safely support delivery equipment
-
All required site preparation is completed prior to delivery
If delivery cannot proceed due to inadequate access or site conditions, any additional costs or re-delivery fees will be your responsibility.
Delivery Day & Inspection
On delivery:

You must inspect the Building immediately upon delivery
-
Any damage or defects must be reported to us in writing within 48 hours
-
If visible damage is present, do not sign for the delivery and notify us immediately
Failure to report issues within this timeframe may result in the Building being deemed accepted in good condition.
Photographic evidence is required for all damage claims.
Transport & Third-Party Carriers
Delivery is carried out by a third-party transport company.

While we may arrange transport on your behalf, the carrier operates independently

We are not liable for delays or damage caused by the transport company unless optional transport insurance has been purchased
Optional Transport Insurance (TransitCare Protection)
We offer optional TransitCare Protection for added peace of mind during transport.
If purchased:

Coverage applies to transport-related damage
-
Damage must be reported within 5 days of delivery

Claims require written notification and photographic evidence
If TransitCare Protection is not purchased:

Transport-related risk passes to you once the Building leaves our possession

Any claims must be made directly with the transport provider
Details and pricing will be outlined in your quote.
Storage & Delays in Collection
If your order is for supply only (collection):

A collection date will be agreed in writing

Storage may be available for a limited time and may incur additional costs
-
Ongoing storage or delays in collection may result in storage fees at current market rates
Important Notes

Delivery costs may be invoiced separately and are subject to adjustment

Final payment must be received prior to delivery or collection
-
We are not responsible for delays caused by late payment, site readiness, or third-party factors
