1. About Expanders®

This website is operated by SGW Capital Limited trading as Expanders® (“we”, “us”, “our”).
We design and supply expandable, portable accommodation units.

2. Website Use

You agree to use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or exploit website content without permission

  • Use the website to submit false or misleading information

  • Prices displayed are indicative starting prices, unless stated otherwise

  • All pricing, specifications, and availability are subject to confirmation in a formal quote or invoice

Submitting a quote request does not create a binding contract.

4. Orders & Payments

Orders are only confirmed once:

  • A formal quote or invoice has been issued and accepted, and

  • Any required deposit or payment has been received

Payment terms, deposit requirements, and timelines will be outlined in your quote or invoice.

5. Manufacturing, Lead Times & Delivery

  • Lead times shown on the website are estimates only

  • Manufacturing, shipping, and delivery timeframes may change due to factors outside our control

  • Delivery requires suitable site access and preparation, which is the customer’s responsibility

We are not liable for delays caused by third parties, logistics, weather, or regulatory processes.

6. Use, Placement & Compliance

Expanders® supplies portable, self-contained units.

  • Placement, consent, zoning, and compliance requirements vary by location and intended use

  • Customers are responsible for confirming compliance with local authorities

  • We may provide specifications and guidance but do not guarantee approvals

7. Returns, Cancellations & Refunds

Due to the nature of made-to-order and configured products:

  • We do not offer change-of-mind returns

  • Refunds and cancellations are subject to the terms outlined in your quote, invoice, or agreement

Your rights under New Zealand consumer law are not affected.

8. Warranty & Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, where applicable.

Any additional warranties will be set out in writing.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses

  • Our liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the relevant products or services
